September 8, 2021:

The 617 is near completion.  The contractor is asking that traffic pass through to pack down the road.  Thank you for your patience during this project.  

July 7, 2021:

Please be advised that the 617 road maintenance project shall commence on Monday.  Detour signs will be going up to provide alternate traffic routes.   Thank you for your patience while we undergo construction.  We look forward to the completed project! 

Reminder that the office will be closed from today at 4:30 until Tuesday, July 13 at 7:30 am.

Please be advised that effective today, the bridge located at Pheasant Creek (Bridge #210-20-36 E in Division 6) is closed due to heaving in the middle. It will remain closed until further notice. Legal Land Location is SW 31-20-09 W2.

The municipal policy shall be that no towing shall be done by municipal employees or equipment on roadways.

Snow Removal Policy:

That any roads not on the primary snow removal route will not be opened during the winter months AND FURTHERMORE THAT all requests shall be reviewed on an individual basis subject to the below criteria:

               Number of people that use the road

               Councillor discretion

Tyre Bridge Restrictions:

For a 2 axle truck that would be 16 tonnes GVW.

For a 3 axle truck that would be 16 tonnes GVW.

For a 5 axle truck that would be 27 tonnes GVW.
