Please be advised the Fire Ban has been lifted, effective today.

July 2, 2021:

Please be advised there is a Fire Ban, Level II in effect.

May 20, 2021:

Please be advised the Fire Ban, Level II has been lifted, effective immediately.

May 12, 2021:

LEVEL 2 Fire Ban

Open burning in the Rural Municipality of McLeod No. 185 is banned.  A Level 2 Fire Ban includes:

  1. Incinerators (for farm or acreage use)
  2. All Burning Barrels
  3. Fireworks
  4. Controlled burns, including stubble burning

Exemptions to a Level 2 Fire Ban, (with a plan to extinguish a fire) are:

  1. Camp Stoves
  2. Solid Fuel Barbecues/Recreational Camp Fires (as per Schedule A)
  3. Liquid Fuel Barbecues (propane or natural gas)
